im tired, im grouchy...
im tired and grouchy all the time. i am trying hard not to be in a constant state of both of these this past week but it is hard. dont ask me why, because i really dont know, but all the same true.

i’m a student. officially enrolled in two graduate courses. my last two.
although i am not looking forward to paying the bill, stressing out about assignments, or racking my brain to write lengthy papers, i am however very excited to learn more about what it is that i do.
i love my job, and now i get to be better at it. win. win.

the best! last night p and i set out for a gallery opening in chealsea as a meet up with some friends. turned out the friends were tired, which was totally ok, and p and i took a short gander at the artwork. it was an installation of handmade porcelain sunflower seeds in a large mass. my description does absolutely no justice to the artwork but that is the gist of it.

should also say, that i had a wonderful thanksgiving spent in wisconsin with prescott and family.
i really liked the small town where he is from, and very much enjoyed our day trips to milwuakee.
we came back home to nyc today quite stuffed from all the amazing food and ready to lay on my couch and watch me some football.
for thanksgiving...
i got my credit/debit info hacked and was taken for every last penny. what jerks. granted i will (eventually) get my money back and all will be ok, but this really bothers me.
it bothers me even more that they bought stuff in stores (not online). how do you do that without a card? or how did they copy my card?
i hope this person enjoyed their $138 in pizza and all the other very stupid wasteful...

a new tv. oh yeah that’s right, a new tv. yes, it is MUCH larger than what we had owned, uh huh we went from 19” to 24” inch all in one day. also we still do not have actual cable, but what we do have is a built in antenna. uh hmmm, we got a wall mounted 24” glory.
you know what it makes even easier… playing super nintendo. oh mario kart you will be played.

i hung up some collaborative school groups artwork in one of our classrooms.
and well i think it looks pretty good! i teach these groups with a few other teaching artists at cma, group visits are consistently interesting, definitely entertaining, and always a joy.

on oct 22nd while dancing the night away at my friend’s wedding. to be more exact i rolled it bad wearing high heels (which i never do, ugh, and these ones aren’t even high) anway, it still hurts.

cma’s art auction, it is our annual fundraiser party which i think was a roaring success.
prescott and i had had a long day both good and bad so to finish it off we decided to splurge a little a buy one of the smaller pieces on auction.
we love it and are excited to find a new home for it in our salon style gallery nyc apartment.

i have read a few of his books, and well, i love them all. prescott is currently reading his latest 1Q84 which is gargantuan but from the looks of it (like him laughing in his chair, or him taking the subway instead of biking just to read) i think he is enjoying it.

from an awesome weekend home in indiana with p and reggie. we drove home for my good friend’s wedding and had a splendid time. we danced til we couldn’t and i got to catch up with long lost old friends.
