so i woke up to...
a handsome man anxiously awaiting for me to open my eyes. as soon as they did he instantly kissed me and said, ‘let’s get in the car and go somewhere, just drive right out of the city’, i promptly said (in a very groggy state) ‘ok’.

printing was the name of the game in my afterschool class today. the kids rocked it, i am always so proud. sadly though my next class is my last, my schedule is just to busy to keep doing it (insert sad face here).

with my new crosley record player. since plugging it in a few days ago it has only stopped playing when i must leave the apartment or sleep. i had a mess of records out the other evening… and i think i have a favorite so far.

i heart my kids and i think they are ultra talented so here is more proof…
this project was very open ended, i basically said make a winter picture with NO SNOW!!! and although i admit this was a lame project idea, my kids went with it and their artwork spanned from the traditional, to a monster’s lab, to a cityscape, to abstract. we then printed ‘snow’ on top.

this project they had total creative freedom, only guidelines were to create a picture using only finger prints as the out line and then crayon to fill it in. considering time, age, and such a broad idea i feel like they did exceptionally well! i also think it is cute that most of the classes did animals…
